Why do pages on webb sites change language?

I live in Spain. When I am in ,eg, Expedia the first page is okay in English, but when I try to review hotels the page goes into Spanish.

This happens on other sites too.

How can get everything in English?Why do pages on webb sites change language?

Hmm sounds funny alot of websites come with direct Ip recognition so when it figures out your Ip address it sources it to the country it comes from and displays the the most common knowledge, its a rapidly growing feature, you should be able to change it if you look for a language bar near the sides or top, and bottom of the page or simply try and enter a .co.uk, or .ie version of the site, other than that i suggest you mask your IP address using Hotspot Shield this gives you an american IP
