How do you change language for a in-car gps?

I have a 98 honda odyssey.the gps system is in japanese.am i able to change it to english at all?How do you change language for a in-car gps?
Each vehicle manufacturer has specifically different protocols to check this. I am not at the shop to look it up but you still have your owners manual dont you??? It should be very easy to obtain the specifics in there. If not, call the Honda Service Department and they will walk you through it.
